What to Expect:
New Patient Visit: Intake, Exam, and Initial Treatment
At your first appointment, we will dive into a comprehensive overview of the chief complaint as well as current and past medical history, lifestyle habits, and a multitude of other factors that likely contribute to your present condition and overall health and wellness.

This inquiry process into your chief complaint is unique in that it is guided by knowledge in Western conventional medicine Traditional Chinese Medicine. This allows for a greater understanding of your body and your condition as a whole. This visit will also include any pertinent neurological, orthopedic, and physical examinations that will help pave the way in understanding your particular case.
This meeting is to get the big picture, begin discovering the root of the problem, and design an Initial Trial of Care that best fits you based on clinical evaluation.
This appointment will also include your first treatment!
What to Expect:
Initial Trial of Care: Treatment Plan and Follow-ups
During your first visit, I will go over exactly what I think will yield the best results for your condition. I organize everything into an Initial Trial of Care in which we can expect results! Everything is clearly written out for you to take home and understand the whole process.

From here, we schedule and move forward with your care plan in a results-oriented way.
The treatment plan will include a high frequency initial schedule to ensure close support as you begin to feel the positive shifts of the therapy. I provide a clear estimate of the number of treatment sessions needed for the best possible outcome in your case.
Based on your individual presentation, we will schedule a re-evaluation date within your Initial Trial of Care. I expect you to see improvements and are dedicated to your progress. This re-evaluation appointment assesses this progress and makes adjustments to your care plan as needed.
Important Note: As one of your healthcare practitioners, I consider myself a member of your healthcare team that you have assembled to assist you on your journey to health and wellness. Moreover, I consider you the most important member of that team. It's of utmost importance that you participate in your care as much as any other healthcare practitioner cares for you.
What to Expect:
Maintenance Care: Ensuring Long Term Results
As your symptoms clear up during your Trial of Care period and you’re back on track, we’ll start to reduce the frequency of your visits. This maintenance period allows us to make sure your symptoms stay gone for good. It also allows for you and I to fine-tune and identify things that might aggravate or exacerbate what we’ve worked hard to eliminate. This helps you to understand your body more holistically, so your healing process is well-rounded and truly long term.

It’s also important to note that depending on the severity of your condition and for how long you’ve had it, the maintenance period of your care may be longer or shorter. For example, your Trial of Care period might be what gets you out of severe, acute pain, but its during your maintenance period that we slowly eliminate all the facets of your chronic condition.

Food for thought: A common and accurate care plan axiom in Natural Medicine states that for every year you’ve been struggling with your condition, expect to spend 3-6 months correcting it. Issues that have been around for a long time don’t go away overnight.
