Pleasure Alchemy is a transformational aphrodisiac herbal journey!  Pleasure helps expand our capacity to feel more, sense more, process more, alchemize more, digest more, and be more.  Pleasure helps us to alchemize and digest our life experiences (all of the things we take in through our senses including food).  Pleasure helps us to dive deeper into our depths to increase intimacy and knowing within ourselves.  The more pleasure we can experience is in direct correlation with how much discomfort we can hold.  So, if we are not that comfortable with the uncomfortable, our capacity for pleasure is diminished.  Conversely, the more simple (and complex) pleasures we can bring in (even micro moments), the more we can hold ourselves when things are difficult.  We can build our pleasure reserves while simultaneously learning how to receive pleasure, and learning what brings us pleasure and nourishment.  

 

Aphrodisiac herbs come from many different herbal categories e.g. nourishing herbs, adaptogens, nervines, heart openers, etc.  Aphrodisiacs are really and truly meant to aid in embodiment, sensuality, and presence.  The more we take care of our senses, the more deeply and profoundly present we can be.  The more present we can be, the more we are aware of pleasure and discomfort.  When we are able to be present, we do not shy away and dissociate from the uncomfortable nor do we shy away and dissociate from receiving pleasure.   We become more and more aware of the pleasure that is accessible in every moment.  Furthermore, we become more and more able to hold ourselves in present moments of discomfort.  Even better, we can do both:  hold a discomfort while also experiencing pleasure.  We become able to hold paradoxes, multiple truths, and the many multitudes within us and outside of us.
