Hedges and edges are where two different ecosystems meet. When they meet, a third thing is born of their unique biodiversities coming together. The Spring Equinox is an edge from wintry and sleepy yin to vibrant and sunny yang.

This blend is a derivative of Free Wanderer. Free Wanderer tones the vagus nerve. “Vagus” means “wanderer,” and this nerve literally wanders throughout your body from your brain all the way to your cervix (in women). The vagus nerve is integral to regulating your nervous system. Therefore, toning it (improving the nerve’s function) will help you expand and regulate your nervous system, aiding in keeping you calm and/or bringing you back to calm quicker. This blend is also inspired by the Chinese Medicine formula, Free Rambling Powder. It harmonizes the liver and spleen. When the liver is impacted, it causes qi stagnation. When the spleen is impacted, it produces dampness that feels like heaviness and stuckness in the body. So, Free Wanderer and Hedge Witch help you move through life more harmoniously, feeling lighter and rooted. Specifically, Hedge Witch has some springy essential oils blended in as well that help the liver in particular. Spring is ruled by the liver, so it’s especially important to free the flow of liver qi.
